They will have access to your information to the extent necessary to perform these functions on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

5.3 Legal Notices

Additionally, we may disclose your personal information to (i) comply with applicable law and/or legal process (e.g., a request from an administrative oversight agency, a civil suit, a subpoena, a court order, or a judicial or administrative proceeding); (ii) defend our rights and/or property or the rights and property of others; (iii) enforce our Terms of Use and/or this policy; (iv) respond to claims that the content(s) violates the rights of third parties.

Any entity that acquires us or a portion of our business will retain the right to use your data in the manner specified in this Privacy Policy unless you agree otherwise.

6. Your Rights and Responsibilities

6.1 Retention of Data

We generally retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as long as necessary to provide you with the Services. This includes data that you or others have provided to us as well as data that is generated or inferred as a result of your use of our Services. In some instances, we choose to retain certain information (for example, insights about Service usage) in an anonymized or aggregated form.

6.2 Your privacy and data protection rights

For personal data that we hold about you, you have the following options: (i) You can request that we erase or delete all or some of your personal data (e.g., if the data is no longer necessary to provide the Services to you); and (ii) You can edit some of your personal data through your account. You can also request that we change, update, or correct your data in certain circumstances, particularly if it is inaccurate; (iii) You can ask us to stop using all or some of your personal data (e.g., if we do not have a legal basis to continue using it) or to restrict our use of it (e.g., if your personal data is inaccurate or unlawfully held); (iv) You can request a copy of your personal data provided in machine-readable form.

To guard against unauthorized access, modification, dissemination, and destruction of your personal data, we implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to ensure the platform's security and integrity.

8. Customer Information

We collect and utilize personal information about your customers in order to provide you with the Services. By and large, we collect and use this personal information in accordance with your instructions. We are legally defined as a "data processor" and a "service provider" under European and California privacy laws. We will never use your customers' information for independent marketing or advertising purposes. Additionally, we do not and will not "sell" your customers' information in the manner in which California law defines the term.
